Regal Classic Homes Awards and Honors

Since 1990 Michael McGuffie has been a member of the Master Custom Builder Council in Orlando Florida. A Master Custom Builder is a. qualified, reliable, homebuilder that recognizes the need for professional standards in the housing industry. A Master Custom Builder pledges to give the finest crafted home within the client's budget. His standards are the highest in the industry, which enables him to offer a written limited warranty.

Since 1989 Michael McGuffie has been a member of the Home Builder's Association(HBA) which enables him to enter a home in the Spring Parade of Homes. At this time he has the opportunity to advertise a home in the newspaper and during a two-week period this home is open to the public to view. In 1989 and 1997 Mike was awarded First Place for his home that was entered in the Parade of Homes.

In 1990 Mike was named builder of the month in "Builder Architect" magazine. He was featured on the front cover of this magazine.
In 1997 Mike was awarded a merit award for the "Alana," featured on the home page, in the Crystal Collection. The Crystal Collection was an elaborate collection of homes in a prestigious neighborhood in Southwest Orlando that won recognition through the media and brought thousands of people through to view for a month's period of time. The fully furnished homes in The Crystal Collection ranged in price from $600,000 to $1,000,000. The "Alana" also won First Prize in the Spring Parade of Homes.

In the Spring of 1998 Regal Classic Homes was featured on the front cover of "Better Homes & Gardens Traditional House Plans." Grandpa's House was the front cover feature with a six page spread which included pictures of the interior of this beautiful home.



In the summer of 1998 Regal Classic Homes was featured again on the front page of "Best Selling Home Plans." Grandma's House was the feature home at this time.


May 2001 brought another award to Regal Classic Homes. Attention to detail -- that's what made the Islander by Regal Classic Homes stand out from a competitive crowd, said the judges for this year's Parade of Homes. The Islander, built in southwest Orange County by Regal Classic Homes, took the Grand Award in the custom home category. The house in the Park Springs community competed in the $480,000 to $520,000 division.
